The African Wrestling Union has renewed its confidence in Mr. Fouad Meskout as its President during the electoral congress held at a hotel in Casablanca. The event was conducted under the supervision of the President of United World Wrestling and witnessed the broad participation of numerous international figures and stakeholders in the sport of wrestling.
The congress was marked by a positive atmosphere and impeccable organization, with both the administrative and financial reports unanimously approved, without any objections or abstentions from the member countries. A total of 31 countries participated in the congress, all expressing their full support for Mr. Fouad Meskout’s continued leadership of the African Wrestling Union, as well as reaffirming their trust in the other members of the Executive Bureau.
This unanimous support reflects the high regard in which Mr. Meskout is held within African and international sports circles, owing to his ongoing efforts to promote and develop the sport of wrestling across the African continent.
